If you've participated in one of our last three Oktoberfisch Fly Fishing Festivals then you already know what a great time we have. OKTOBERFISCH 2007 (Oct 19, 20 and 21st) will be even better!! Mark your calendars now, and call a friend!

This year, OKTOBERFISCH is moving up the Llano River to Junction, Texas and will be held at Morgan Shady Park on the banks of the South Llano River.

Why change locations? 2 Words - "To improve". The festival will continue to improve, only it's location has changed. We've had three great years of Oktoberfisch at Kellers Riverside Store on the Llano River near Mason, Texas. With growth comes change, with change comes improvement. Oktoberfisch simply out grew the original location. The festival will still offer all the first class casting clinics, breakfast tacos/coffee, shuttles, fly fishing classes, camping, fishing camaraderie, Rib-Eye steak dinner, equipment representatives, exhibitors, raffles, silent auctions; and some new, fun, competitive events you will really enjoy.

We wanted to offer something better, a new location with improved amenities. How about lush green grass for tent campers, huge pecan trees for shade, picnic tables, indoor bathrooms, indoor showers w/HOT & cold water, electricity, running water, RV hookups, an enclosed party barn for classes, lectures and afternoon happy hour. Not to mention some new water to float & fish.

You can take one of three shuttles (short, med or day long float) up river and paddle right back to Morgan Shady Park — and pull your kayak or canoe right up to your tent. Shuttles will also be offered for those wanting to do some wade fishing away from the park as well.

Morgan Shady Park in Junction, Texas is on the Llano River, only two minutes from downtown Junction. We have the entire park reserved for this year's OKTOBERFISCH Festival. If you've never fished the South Llano River then you've missed some of the most fantastic water in the state. Join us at the fourth annual Oktoberfisch and you'll have the opportunity to fish this crystal clear spring fed river that's just 60 miles West of Fredericksburg right off IH-10.
